Easy & Delicious cocktails so you can get on with the festivities

Strange Love produces some remarkable organic tonic waters & mixers - some classic flavours done well and some new left of centre.  We've made a bunch of very easy but delicious cocktails with each of our different Gingle Bells Gin flavours and provided recipes for you to try among your festivities!

Carpe Diem

This cocktail is robust in spices and aromas and can be enjoyed by serious cocktail lovers and anyone with a bit of fire in their belly. The chocolatey hazelnut flavour of the wattleseed is complex but compatible with the nuances of this Dry Ginger Ale. Then the oils in the orange rind with the smoked cinnamon stick puts the whole drink into a whole new depth.

Dry Ginger Ale & Wattleseed Gin

Recipe

  • Fill glass with ice.
  • Pour in one Gingle Bells Bauble (50ml) Wattleseed Gin – including the wattleseeds.
  • Top with Strange Love Dry Ginger Ale.
  • Garnish with some twirled rounds of orange rind and a smoking cinnamon stick (put cinnamon stick upright in glass.  Put a match or kitchen blow torch to it until the end is lit and starts smoking.  Blown out any flames and allow to continue smoking as the rest of the drink is poured and enjoyed).

PRIM & PEPPER G&T

This cocktail is very savoury with the rosemary extract ingredient in the Dirty Tonic. The pepperberry in the gin combines beautifully to add an additional savoury element and hot aromatic kick at the end of each sip.

  • Pour in one Gingle Bells Bauble (50ml) Pepperberry Gin – including the pepperberries).
  • Top with Strange Love Dirty Tonic water.
  • Garnish with a sprig of fresh rosemary and a large blackberry on a cocktail pick.

BITTER SWEET SYMPHONY

The spectacular flavour and bitterness of the Bitter Lemon mixer is able to shine bright with the subtlety of the Butterfly Pea Flower Gin. Where the Butterfly Pea Flower gives way to flavour, it punches out an amazing colour change from blue to purple when it blends with the tonic.
