Deep Dark Red Finger Lime Gin is an intense gin of bold and dark flavours accentuated with the exquisite pops of suspended pink finger lime caviar. Serve with crushed ice and Bundaberg ginger beer for an eye-rollingly refreshing and soul satisfying drink unique in all the world.
The pink finger limes we use for this gin have smaller more petite pearls which pop in your mouth when you bite them releasing and aromatic citrussy burst of 40% alcohol gin which is different to the dark ginger hibiscus gin they are suspended in.
The pink finger limes are grown on our 80 acre farm at Kurrajong Heights. Chief distiller Lee planted 1,600 finger lime trees back in 2010 and has crawled around and under each and every one of the trees at least 70x since tending to their needs and ensuring they produce the most amazing fruit! It took a further 3 years of research and development to create this gin. Each bottle takes 18 months to create - 9 months to grow and nurture the fruit and another 9 to gently and skillfully convert the caviar to contain 40% alcohol gin and retain their dark pink colour.
Cold pressed Wild Hibiscus flower juice, loads of fresh Queensland ginger, Kaffir lime and Tahitian lime leaves also grown on the farm and Navelina orange peel grown on a neighbours fam in the Hawkesbury Valley round off this Deep and Dark gin.
If you love our original finger lime gin then this one will take you to the Dark Side from which you may never return.
Invert the bottle before pouring as the caviar in this one does not suspend indefinitely.
